1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the LocalBoost website, account and services.

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using LocalBoost, you agree to these terms.

If you are using LocalBoost on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act on its behalf.

2. The LocalBoost service

LocalBoost provides software and AI-assisted tools designed to help businesses create and manage marketing materials and related business content.

Features may include AI-generated marketing content, images, business profiles, advertising setup tools, advertising-platform connections and other marketing functionality.

Available features may vary depending on your subscription plan and the availability of third-party services.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating and using your account.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.

Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Subscription plans

LocalBoost may offer different paid subscription plans with different features and usage limits.

The price, billing period and included features shown at checkout apply to the subscription you purchase.

Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions are recurring and continue until cancelled.

5. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment provider identified during checkout.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorise the payment provider to charge the applicable subscription amount at each renewal until the subscription is cancelled.

You are responsible for ensuring that your payment and billing information remains accurate.

6. Cancellation and renewals

Paid plans are billed monthly and renew automatically each month until cancelled. The next renewal date is shown in your account or Stripe billing page.

You can cancel future renewals at any time. Sign in to your dashboard and choose Manage billing in Stripe. If Stripe does not show a cancellation option, or you cannot access your account, email support@localboost4u.co.uk from your registered email address. Include your business name and the email address on your LocalBoost account. We will confirm the cancellation request and the date your access ends.

To avoid the next monthly charge, make your cancellation request before the renewal date shown in your account or Stripe. Once cancelled, no further monthly renewals will be taken. Your paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period. There is no cancellation fee. We do not normally refund unused time in a billing period, except where required by law or stated below.

Statutory cancellation rights

If you are a consumer and UK law gives you a right to cancel this distance contract, you can exercise that right by emailing support@localboost4u.co.uk within the applicable cancellation period and clearly stating that you want to cancel. Your statutory rights are not replaced by the monthly cancellation process above.

If you ask us to start supplying a service during a statutory cancellation period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the time you cancel, where the law allows this. Special rules apply to digital content supplied during a cancellation period. A right to cancel digital content is lost only where the required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.

You may use this optional cancellation notice by email:

7. Refunds and statutory rights

Any refund request will be considered in accordance with the subscription purchased, the circumstances of the request and applicable UK law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

8. Usage limits

Subscription plans may contain monthly or other usage limits for particular LocalBoost features.

Usage allowances do not necessarily roll over into future billing periods unless LocalBoost specifically states otherwise.

We may use reasonable technical controls to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.

9. AI-generated content

LocalBoost uses artificial intelligence to assist with generating content.

AI-generated content can contain errors, inaccuracies or unsuitable material. You are responsible for reviewing and approving content before publishing, distributing or relying on it.

LocalBoost does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be unique, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose or produce any particular commercial result.

10. Your content

You retain responsibility for information, text, images, instructions and other material you provide to LocalBoost.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide and use that material.

You give us permission to process material you submit where necessary to provide the LocalBoost services you request.

11. Acceptable use

You must not use LocalBoost:

12. Advertising features

LocalBoost may provide tools that assist with advertising setup or connect to third-party advertising platforms.

Unless a feature clearly states otherwise and you have expressly authorised the relevant action, entering advertising information into LocalBoost does not itself mean that an advertisement will be launched or advertising money will be spent.

Where you authorise advertising activity, you remain responsible for your advertising budget, campaign approval, business claims, targeting and compliance with applicable advertising laws and platform policies.

Advertising platforms may reject, suspend or modify campaigns according to their own rules. LocalBoost cannot guarantee approval or advertising performance.

13. Third-party services

LocalBoost relies on third-party technology and services, which may include payment processors, cloud infrastructure, AI providers, email services and advertising platforms.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms, policies, availability and technical limitations.

We are not responsible for a third-party service being unavailable or changing functionality outside our reasonable control.

14. Availability and changes

We aim to keep LocalBoost available and functional, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

We may maintain, improve, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

Where a material change significantly affects a paid service, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate information to affected users.

15. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect LocalBoost, other users or third parties, investigate suspected misuse, comply with law, or respond to a material breach of these terms.

Where appropriate, we will try to provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

16. Intellectual property

LocalBoost's website, software, branding and original service materials remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These terms do not transfer ownership of the LocalBoost software or branding to users.

17. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

LocalBoost is a marketing-assistance service. We do not guarantee particular sales, leads, revenue, advertising performance, search rankings or other commercial results.

You remain responsible for business decisions and for checking content before using it publicly.

18. Privacy

Information about how LocalBoost handles personal information is provided in our Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our services, pricing, technology or legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page. Where required, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
